Privacy
The short version: PingPilot collects as little as possible, never sells anything to anyone, and this website doesn’t use cookies.
PingPilot is made by Avalore Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (number 17046103), registered office 3rd Floor, 86-90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom. When these pages say “I” or “me”, they mean Avalore Ltd.
This website
- Analytics. I use GoatCounter to count visits. It doesn’t use cookies, doesn’t track you across sites, and doesn’t collect personal information. I see things like “120 people visited today, mostly on phones”.
- Email sign-ups. If you join a list, I store your email address with Resend, who send the emails for me. You’ll only get what you signed up for, and every email has an unsubscribe link. I keep your address until you unsubscribe or I close the list.
- Contact form. Messages arrive in my inbox (again via Resend). I keep them only as long as I need them to reply.
- Hosting. The site runs on Cloudflare, which keeps standard server logs (like IP addresses) for security, for a short time.
The product
PingPilot isn’t open yet. Until it is, the only thing I collect is your email address, if you join the waitlist (see “Email sign-ups” above). The rest of this section is how PingPilot will work once it opens.
When you sign in, PingPilot stores your email address to run your account and send your alerts.
To watch your sites, it stores the addresses you give it, the services you link them to, and the results of each check (status code, response time, errors). It keeps check history for 90 days. If you delete your account, everything goes within 30 days.
It doesn’t see your code, your database or your chat history. It only sees the messages your AI app sends to PingPilot itself, to carry out what you asked.
Paid plans are sold through Stripe, which handles your payment and billing details. I never see your card number. Email alerts go through Resend, and alerts you send to Discord or Telegram go through those services.
Why I can use your data
- You said yes, for email lists. Take it back any time with the unsubscribe link.
- To give you what you asked for, for your account and anything you set up in PingPilot.
- To keep things running safely, for security logs and counting visits without identifying anyone.
Who else handles it
A few trusted services help run PingPilot: Cloudflare (hosting), Resend (email) and GoatCounter (visit counts), plus any named in “The product” above. Each only gets what it needs to do its job, and can’t use your data for anything else.
Some of them store data outside the UK, for example in the US. When they do, it’s protected by safeguards UK law recognises, like the UK’s international data transfer agreement.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what I hold about you, ask me to correct it or delete it, or ask me to stop using it. Email hello@pingpilot.run and I’ll reply within a month, usually much sooner.
If you’re not happy with how I’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Children
PingPilot isn’t meant for children under 13, and I don’t knowingly collect their data.
Changes
